Los Padres Forest and Kern County firefighters are working to contain a growing brush fire in Frazier park.
The fire spakred around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday west of Interstate 5 and north of Tecuya Mountian Road.
There are currently over 300 personnel on the scene including 15 engines and 4 helicopters.
On Wednesday evening air tankers encircled the perimeter with a double line of retardant. As of Thursday morning, the U.S. Forest Service states the fire is 10% contained and has burned approximately 50 acres so far.
