ok i did all of lost bloodline route! clarences "cage of guilt" card carried my butt so hard im wondering if i should just invest all my ult refinement materials on clarence bcs high refinements of "ice coconut and salt" lars can be found everywhere (can you believe this event is rerunning and bcs i cleared it so awfully last time that theyre letting me access the event again? or maybe theyre doing this for everybody idk..) so its like one solid dps and one solid 'locks the ult of the enemies' card thats doing everything here.. sustain cards are nice i wish they healed a bit more

got a whole new normal card this late into the release of lost bloodline route, atp my lost bloodline playthrough gonna stretch into infinity (remembers makoto saying eternity extends time into infinity.. demn not now ;-; )

what id like to do here is piece together what has happened so far regarding the white city or white cities as we will come to find

adona is the head of the fourth white city, if i remember right. yes, there are many white cities with cael himself hailing from the seventh white city that prioritises victory and opulence (cael interestingly is in possession of the wheel of opulence, an overpowered artefact that can essentially win wars with its unspecified but overwhelming power) as previously established in another lovebrush post of mine, white city can create worlds and then destroy them if they deviate too much.

slight background info id like to slip in: in the way back before or specifically a few story arcs ago in caels awakening main story, from back when we met cael not in ruins of where white city stood but due to a visit to the past, the white city itself, and found a young empire cadet cael observing what we assume to be the white city when really it was the fourth white city, one of poems and arts and peace in general. and learning not all is what it seems.

where a certain traveller fell in love with one of the residents of one such world and that world had to be destroyed. the traveller recreated that world to find her lover once more but failed in the end as the one she had found herself with was ultimately a different person entirely, shaped by different experiences. she got back her love, as in, her love was reciprocated but she was so distraught by the realisation that she cant simply conjure worlds and will her lover back into being that she drifted back and forth in space and time, looking for the exact version of the person she lost.

this, in turn, necessitated that negative emotions be removed as the worlds the white city created grew more and more turbulent and travellers who returned from those worlds showed signs of the same turbulence. and the whole arc was about dealing with the aftermath of the return of that one woman who lost her lover and was trying to use this negative emotions to recreate her lovers world or destroy white city itself.. yes my memory has gotten hazy over a detail as important as that but it really goes to show how low stakes i perceived it to be.. seriously you have not seen the last of the desensitisation of destroying an entire world, you see it occur in eden main story, where its either eden!alkaids world or yours at stake, puppeteered by infinite empires luminary!alkaid
