With the Little Free Library company charging a fee to appear on their maps and use the name, I realized there are a lot of “dark” libraries I’ve seen on my local walks and rides, that do not appear on their official registry. I’ve started a map with photos of ones I come across on my walks and bike rides in this area. Hope to expand and update the area covered as time and wandering permits.

First edition of BC author Jane Rule’s “The Young in One Another’s Arms” (1977). Despite its suggestive title and its distinction as an early lesbian novel, with characters on the run from serving in the war in Vietnam, the cover is so so so boring.
