@niq i know you already ordered the books but I would nonetheless recommend a different system than DnD. Maybe take a look at Legend in the Mist, Blades in the Dark, CBR+PNK, Bump in the Dark or something like Outgunned. There are so much more and better Systems out there that are perfect for new people without locking them into the Hasbro/WotC World.
I have the Legends in the Mist Alpha rule set and thinking it may be just what I've been wanting for my Earthsea inspired Fantasy RPG I want to run...
Well, first of all I need to build the setting...
I could start on that tonight... but I kinda want to shift away from the computer for a bit too...
But if I shift away, I may not shift back...
