Even so, Mawson’s Bunch welcomed them home as heroes and eagerly listened to their tales.And then they showed Lionel a surprise. They meet Daisy. And Daisy showed Lionel that People had dug up evidence of mega fauna called marsupial lions or Thylacoleo carnifex. . T hese fearsome had lived tens of thousands of years ago in Australia. So, Lionel did once had fore-lions, of the Australian kinds, out there. Of course, he hadn't been able to find them as they were long gone. Even so, he was very proud to have such fierce ancestry.
