I finished the #jdorama #silenttruth and found it well done with an interesting twist or two. Despite the subject matter it was “light” as jdoramas go.
#sinsofkujo is very, very different and I’m taking it slow. Yagira Yuya is one of my fave Japanese actors ever since I saw him in #lightofmylion

Light Of My Lion (ライオンの隠れ家, literally The Lion's Hideout, or I guess The Lion's Den), a new TBS series now on Netflix, is great. I just watched the first three episodes and am hooked.

It's a slow-burning family drama / mystery, following Hiroto, who lives with his autistic younger brother, when a young child called Lion turns up at their house and disturbs their well-honed routine.

It takes its time, so the narrative never feels rushed, and is both heartfelt but also has a quite dark, mysterious undertone to it.
