A couple of photos that show the continuing erosion of the bluff at #LighthousePoint . First photo taken after the big storm a year ago. Second photo taken today after the latest series of storms. This bluff is about 20 feet high, so it was a pretty big piece of rock that fell off.

Stopped by the tree that I recorded falling over yesterday at #LighthousePoint state park in #SantaCruz and recorded the aftermath. The road that is the northern border of the park, Pelton Ave., is closed because a number of tall trees fell across both lanes. It was a wild day and night. Power was out over most of the Westside and downtown from midafternoon for several hours. Sounds like #SoCal is getting it much worse, though. #AtmosphericRiver.

I was out walking #WestCliff #SantaCruz between rain clouds this afternoon around 2:15pm and this happened across from #LighthousePoint.
I was trying to capture the sound of the wind blowing through the trees, but what you heard is mostly the wind going by my microphone.
The wind is very strong. This is part of the #AtmosphericRiver level 3 that is hitting us today.
