Climate stall duty at Merri Food Hub in Fawkner today.

We met 13 yo Charlie who ignored us and we ignored him. But we also met some cute hooman puppies who gave us pats while Dad had a few climate conversations about the climate crisis, waste to energy, industrial agriculture reliance on fossil fuel based fertiliser, what Council is doing.

Also on Labor approving 28 new coal and gas projects in the last 3 years, how that over half the gas exported from Australia there is no royalties paid, in fact we give $billions to foreign owned companies to export this gas which they make many billions in profit. What a scam which succeeding Labor and Coalition Governmdnts have failed to address.

We checked out around the new Balam Balam Place Arts precinct in Brunswick built by Merri-bek Council.

It features a huge mural - ‘Always’ - by Gamilaroi artist Riko Rennie.
