Folks; "agentic" (for #agents in #AI), is not a real word in English. Available adjectives are "agentive" or "agential". Even worse is "agenticness" - eugh! I know #languageisalivingthing etc. etc., but seriously. Is it too late to stop this? #lexicographers please help!

I'm angry to find out that IXL Learning has bought Dictionary.com and that in doing so, it laid off the entire #lexicography team! How absolutely horrid and nonsensical. You can't produce and maintain a #dictionary of any quality without #lexicographers! A few years ago the word #sploot made it onto the Merriam-Webster dictionary’s list of Words We’re Watching, but we haven’t heard anything since. I happen to know a world champion splooter, and he’s very disappointed. If you feel the same way, please #TootTheSploot! You never know when the #lexicographers are listening.
