The bilingually challenged laundromat 🧺
1. “Coin Laundry” written in the Japanese Katakana alphabet is コインランドリー (ko-i-n-ra-n-do-rii).
2. Hence, コインランドリー in Roman letters must be “Coin Randory” - at least the person in charge of signposting this shop apparently thought so, and without a proofreader, the signage went up just like that.
Seen in the Maenochō area of Tokyo's Itabashi ward.
