Went out tonight; a call from my son alerted us that there was a local power outage and our battery backup/solar system didn't kick in. The outage also somehow borked the UPS my desktop computer lives on, but that's pretty minor compared to a mystery breakage in the power system.

But...we were at the Disney Concert Hall, watching Dudamel conduct the LA Phil in Mahler's 7th Symphony, and it freaking rocked. So I'm not going to worry about the other stuff until tomorrow.
