One last post, to properly finish the event.
The reason why I initially wanted to share all this art and info around the Kupała Night event is due to far-right, racist, queerphobic neo-nazi scum appropriating paganism and folk traditions, especially the Nordic and Slavic ones.
It's absolutely deplorable that these vile people have the gall to claim these traditions and symbols as their own. They are continuing the work of the Christian institutions that committed the cultural genocide of Pagans in the first place.
They should not be allowed to continue to spread their lies and hatred.
Paganism must be as queer and racially diverse as possible.
