Australia, Two hundred and sixty-five casualties, including forty-eight dead, 219 wounded, six missing and two prisoners of war. (Australia has about 1,000 men in Korea, including Air Force and Navy units, and her casualty rate is one of the highest.)

To protest the exclusion of the Communist China, Russian representatives boycotted the UN from January to August 1950. The Russians  threatened the they would not feel bound by UN decisions taken in presence of representatives  the Government of Taiwan. The boycott led to the Russians not being able to veto the UN resolution which allowed an intervention of UN military forces in #KoreaWar.
