Stevan#Knirps got a Lego tractor (60498). Since the Lego is too small for him, I had to make the sacrifice and build it until he stops eating everything. Poor me 😜
Good design, although it relies on an abundance of special bricks to look neat in small form. There's exactly two Technic bricks in there, too. And a few parts on the exhaust I've never seen before.
I bet half the people who aren't farmers put the tyres on the wrong way.
#Knirps got his first gearbox. Like any proper mechanic, he immediately emptied it out on the floor, gears flying everywhere.
#Knirps got his throne upgraded.
This is the "compact" version and it barely fits into our not that small car. I don't remember kid seats being so huge, but then they also didn't rotate or have Isofix bases in my days.
Also attaching Isofix hardware is not like in the instructional videos where some smiling parent easily lifts the seat in and it just goes click. There's a lot more wrestling, swearing and sweating involved.

Chicken looks a bit skinny.
Perhaps its just because she lost her winter fur. Perhaps because there seem to be fewer rodents and sparrows this spring. Or perhaps the other farm in her territory isn't yielding as much food.
Gave her an extra portion of kibble. She also likes to eat some of the home-made baby food #Knirps doesn't finish.
It might say food on the book, but I don't think that's how they meant it, #Knirps.
@impermanen_ Managed to read "Wind in the Willows" to #Knirps before he lost interest in being read stories 💪
