Good.

1️⃣ #BaronBlood returns!

2️⃣ This is a well-structured story. Some scenes show Blood killing people that he's dressed up like #UnionJack. There are pages showing the Pendragons in a training session. And Grace, one of the book's best characters, returns to work at evil Omni Corp.

3️⃣ The training session is a bit bland, but the rest is very interesting. I particularly loved the sequences with the murders. Twisted.

1️⃣ Big battle with everybody together.

2️⃣ Up to now, the characters have been in different locations. Here, they're basically all together in one place. All fighting one very big villain, and his cronies, at the same time.

1️⃣ #SpiderMan joins the battle.
2️⃣ There's not a huge amount of story development here. The Pendragons and #Warheads talk instead of fight. But a faction of the Warheads has other ideas. And they find an unexpected ally.
3️⃣ It's a story dense with detail. Whether that's good or bad depends on how much effort you're willing to put into it.

Fun.

1️⃣ Pendragons vs. #Warheads

2️⃣ This is very enjoyable indeed. Having a book devoted to villains means we get battles like this. Ones where we like/understand characters on both sides.

3️⃣ Nice way to get #SpiderMan involved, too.

Entertaining.

1️⃣ #SpiderMan. And a spider-man!?

2️⃣ This issue does a lot. It includes a #Spidey scene that works really well. It introduces the regulars individually, and shows the team coming together as one. It starts an inventive new storyline. Best of all, it builds to a big reveal at the end. One you could see coming, but one that still works.

I have waited a whole year for the #knightsofpendragon omnibus to go from preorder to delivered. I can't wait to get stuck in.

I feel there is sadly something timeless about "a moody and suspenseful eco-thiller" about an evil corporation making profit off the destruction of nature.
