New blog post 📝 I built a custom Kiro CLI agent that posts to Mastodon, LinkedIn, Bluesky, and X from the terminal.

A steering document with credentials, one agent config, and curl commands. No MCP server needed. It reads URLs, crafts messages per platform, and posts after confirmation.

Took about one hour to set up.

A Custom Kiro Agent to Post on Social Media

Every time I publish a blog post or a podcast episode, I share it on social media. Mastodon, LinkedIn, Bluesky, X. Four platforms, four different APIs, four different character limits, four different image upload procedures. It’s tedious. Not hard, just repetitive enough to be annoying. So I built a Kiro CLI custom agent that does it for me. I give it a message and optionally an image, it adapts the text to each platform’s constraints, shows me a preview, and posts everywhere once I confirm. The whole thing took about one hour to set up, mostly the time to collect credentials on each platform.

Sounds almost like you work for #AWS, except you'd be complaining #Kiro. With the recent, Kiro-caused outages, the "cover for mistakes" really sounds like AWS.
