Just passed through the town of Kibitsu, famous for their "kibidango".

Japanese may recall the legend of "Momotaro" (the "peach boy") who became the champion of his village & went on a quest to defeat the Oni (ogres/demons) that pillaged their lands from afar.

On his trip, he traded half of his kibidango to a dog, pheasant, & monkey to solicit their aid in his journey & with their help & skills eventually defeated the Oni.

I bought 4 packages: 2 matcha & 2 kinako.
