An introduction to write KernelCI configuration settings for CIP SLTS Kernel project #01

日本語版 Hello everyone, My name is Arisu Tachibana. I’m the current Gentoo Kernel team leader, creator of KernelCI kci-dev and KernelCI Infra WG member. Today I would like to talk about KernelCI configuration and our integration with CIP platforms. KernelCI is the project that is used …

KernelCI Q3 drop is here ✨
ATS 2025 videos are live, the Labs/Dashboard WG kicked off (pull-style lab hookups + UX glow-ups), and kci-dev ships as Deb/RPM via OBS with auto builds + regression checks 🛠️

Meet the New KernelCI – ELISA

@kbrosnan @jacen @kees @KernelRecipes The CI, while provides amazing value when setup properly, is expensive to run. Even on smaller projects as Mesa3D, it needs to have a team of maintainers to develop it and keep it running. Not mentioning the teams who cares about the physical farms. Same as people agree on one mainline, I think it would be wise for all involved companies to join #KernelCI and work on pre-merge solutions instead doing their own post-merge.

#KernelCI is live at https://dashboard.kernelci.org

There are frameworks in place to report not only functional testing but also performance regression testing.

There is a massive volume of data that is collected, processed and stored from multiple labs and test frameworks. If your test can be run by a machine or a human, someone can help translate test results from an arbitrary format to KCIDB.

Would be very interesting to see this used by Zephyr too 😃🐧🪁
