I dreamt that I purchased a black Honda Acty #keivan. It was an elaborate dream. I commuted in it to my old office. I surprised my friends with it. I had to figure out where to park it since I already have a white Subaru Sambar #keitruck. Which one goes outside? Can I clear the garage enough to fit two? Then I woke up.

Despite the American obsession with absurdly oversized faux-trucks, might there be a sweet spot in the market for something akin to this #KeiVan form factor? Light + no hood = fun, agile, direct. So what's the biggest blocker?

1. Weight/range/acceleration tradeoffs
2. Can it be made safe/street legal?
3. Would going all-electric help?

They were big enough to haul arcade machines, cheap enough to be affordable to the sort of person who dealt in arcade machines during the PS2 era (IE fifty quid off the scrapyard), incredibly maneuverable, and so, so fun to drive.
