Keep android open. Google is intending to lockdown android and make it far more shittier for developers to make actual applications (not just containers that load websites inside), including restricting one's ability to use anything outside of the play store like open repositories not controlled by Google.

Starting April 1 (if this isn't a massive joke), Russian infrastructure is reportedly ready to disconnect from the global internet. Like many others, I don't know what will happen next, so I'm currently backing up some distros and data from my overseas servers.

It looks like Mastodon is the only place I'll be syndicating to from my indieweb-site. Twitter charge $100/month for API access and the free tier appears to be hobbled. Then Meta's Threads doesnt have an API yet.

Probably good to avoid the silos and keep it open anyway 🎉
