Judy Garland – Happiness Is Just A Thing Called Joe
https://wgom.org/2024/07/21/judy-garland-happiness-is-just-a-thing-called-joe/
Really excellent video piece from Randy Shaver/KARE that contains early footage & pictures of Joe, interview with Joe as well as some local media folks (including Justin Morneau). It got to me, I've already shed tears today about Joe. (I should probably put hashtags on this thread, eh?)
I’m a lifelong #MinnesotaTwins fan who grew up with a family that had season tickets (at least a partial share) since 1984.
In the last few years before the pandemic, I went to 40 or so games each season at #TargetField (some in 207, some in H).
My favorite player growing up was #RodCarew; my favorite player in more recent years is #JoeMauer.
I also enjoy the #MinnesotaTimberwolves as a casual fan and #baseball in general (not just #MLB).

Dialing It Down a Notch: The Next Five Years of BBWAA Hall of Fame Elections | FanGraphs
As a former #Seattle and #Houston resident who found my way to #Boulder #Colorado, the next couple years of #baseball HOF elections will be fun.
Jay Jaffe predicts #AdrianBeltre and #ToddHelton will get elected in 2024, and #Ichiro, #BillyWagner, and #JoeMauer in 2025.
Good read about other candidates too like Beltran, Sabathia, Andruw Jones, etc.
