1) #opnsense is great, but I'm glad I gave myself some time to make the switch. Nothing quite like learning a new #firewall platform. Biggest issue looks to be migrating a bunch of #DHCP leases and static IP allocations to the new system. My actual firewall policies are simple.

2) ##opnborg looks great, but has next to no web presence.

3) #jellfin I went down the rabbit hole of trying to improve the search and subject into #meilisearch. It looks fantastic and as though it would handily speed up search queries.. except that the plug-in was written for 10.10 and no longer works correctly. So now I've signed myself up to figure out why it doesn't behave. Taking most searches to over a second would be a massive improvement. I'm stunned that the #jf team hasn't done something about it. Even adding a debounce while typing would be hugely beneficial thing.

#Jellyfin 10.11.* is nearly unusable for me.

I read where mixed and "other" libraries are not preferred or really supported anymore in #Jellfin, but I have several from the old days and they are taking like 3 or 4 minutes to load under version 10.11.2, if they load at all, some don't, even after they load and then are reloaded after the initial upgrade loading. Can we do anything about this? Scanning does nothing.

Would I be better deleting the the library and recreating as "home videos" or whatever. These aren't movies or series, in most cases.

These are self-made, in-house video and other productions not in the meta data providers proper and mixed library worked great before.

It's making Jellyfin unusable for us. Is there anything I can do absent rolling back to 7, which has "security" issues per 10.11.* release notes?
