This area is a vital yet understated waterway that weaves through the plains of the Terai region. It flows gently across a lush and fertile landscape, its banks lined with fields of rice, sugarcane, and jute. The river serves as a lifeline for the surrounding communities, providing irrigation and supporting local livelihoods through fishing and small-scale farming.
It has been truly rewarding to work in the region and deepen my understanding of its unique character. I only wish I had the chance to spend even more time there. 11/2024.
