Помнится, когда я купил свой первый #iPodVideo (2005), в нем не было gapless воспроизведения и это охуенно обламывало. Лишь через полтора года оно появилось

#iPod

Anyone having a classic Apple iPod ? I'm trying to revive my old iPod Video 5th gen, but the battery and BMS board is dead.

Due to imports regulations I cannot import a battery, and there are no battery sellers my country, so I'm trying to retrofit one of my lipo batteries. However I'm not sure about the polarity of the flex.

If you have an iPod classic and a battery, I'd appreciate if you could help me identify the polarity from top to bottom.

Ok so fun story…

My #airpodspro 2nd Gen have a nasty bug. They like to reboot on the regular, in particular the right bud.

Yesterday the Bluetooth adapter arrived so naturally I want to use my audio quality buds with the #ipodvideo because I like my music to be epic.

Not a single reboot during the entire day, until I reconnected to my #iPhone12mini

5 minutes in the bud rebooted, and after just being patient and finishing my show (Sons of Anarchy S7EP1, doing a rewatch of the series in prep for Mayans MC) I went to bed. I woke up and was like “Time to Jam!” and got out the iPod and AirPods and…. No audio. Zilch. Did some troubleshooting and it’s an issue when the AirPods reboot, and only when they do that. If they don’t connect to my iPhone and reboot during use then I’m golden and I don’t have to worry about a thing. If they reboot then they will connect to the adapter but without audio. I suspect the AirPods are trying to use APTX or APTX LL and they are rebooting as a result, or they are defaulting to SBC/AAC and that is affecting the ability to pull the audio stream from the adapter which is using APTX or APTX LL by default. It also has SBC but I doubt it’s using that since it is lasting all day for me and SBC is a power hog to my understanding. (If I’m wrong/backwards let me know)

Either way, this means my AirPods are going to be stuck with my iPod for now until I can either get back to the Apple Store or a firmware update drops that handles this.
