Another failed attempt at #astrophotography. Not sure what happened, but my mount, an iOptron GEM28, will not track anymore. Slewing works fine, but guiding does not. Calibration fails both in PHD2 and in EKOS. Maybe it's backslash, maybe communication errors, maybe something else. I am so frustrated right now. I tried different cables etc. The balancing is perfect. I'm running out of options.

Als Anfänger habe ich mir vor 2 Jahren eine #Skywatcher #AZ-GTi mit einem #Evoguide 50ED besorgt.
Damit stoße ich jetzt langsam an ihre Grenzen.
Daher denke ich über eine #iOptron #HAE29 ohne Encoder nach, welche ich mit #indilib und #KStars / #Ekos betreiben möchte.
Hat jemand Erfahrungen mit dieser (SW-)Kombination?

Only a few hours to get this shot in last night as we're pretty late in the season now. I got 2h 52m worth of time before it set below my neighbor's trees in the South West. I kinda wish I'd spent more time framing up Thor's Helmet a bit better, but I was worried that I'd push the Seagull too close to the outside and start getting coma on it, too.
