This tube filled skinny kitty is Bowie. I found her abandoned, emaciated, on death's door on the side of the road. Her previous owner had clearly not wanted to pay the vet bills for whatever her underlying condition was at the time, and decided she could go and die alone. Whatever was wrong with her to warrant abandonment, by the time we got to her, her problems were much greater. So far she has had 5cm of her intestine removed due to intussusception, a surgery she barely survived due to her weakened state. She has pneumonia, and she also has a sinus problem which will need surgery at a later date once she has gained some weight and strength. She has completely bankrupted me, but it's worth it. She is a sweetie. Super friendly and gentle. Whoever did this girl harm does not deserve such a lovely friend anyway. Oh! Bowie also has polydactylism, so she has extra toes. Her front paws look like chameleon hands, and she has the most funny walk. Her back paws look extra huge. She is really a pretty cat, despite her starvation.
