Most freight in the US is by train and only the Last Mile is by trucks and vans.
Some of our leaders are
emulating the bad things about the US. Some are trying to emulate the good things, but are hitting political road blocks (or literal rail blockages).
It will be interesting to see what the current bushfires in Pilliga State Forest near Narrabri will affect Inland Rail.
