Also worth mentioning is that I thought writer Dan Watters did a downright remarkable job emulating the style of Alejandro Jodorowsky. It’s uncanny, really.

Oh, btw– Humanoids claims that this book is in the works to become a film, overseen by Taika Waititi ("Thor: Ragnarok").

As a nice little bonus, the book included a two-page ‘reading order’ list of the various Incal works, which have built up in to quite the impressive collection over the years. I believe this brings us up to 2025’s chronology:

I wish Jodorowsky’s version of Dune could have been made. In lieu of Dune, I’d totally take the Incal being made into a movie.

More and more I find myself inspired by French sci-fi and electronic music.

Leí hace poco un recopilatorio del #Incal de #Moebius y #Jodorowsky y me pareció que el #Dreadstar de Jim Starlin le coge unas cuantas inspiraciones: el grupo que rodea al protagonista, el Alto Señor Papal, tipos con cabeza de carnívoro doméstico...

Así que Dreadstar no bebe solo de Star Wars, tiene otras fuentes.
