So there's a certain mindset I've begun to notice in vegans on some forums. (I know vegans IRL and this isn't all vegans, please don't attack me for slander.) There's this dichotomy of:

-Killing animals is WRONG and EVIL under ALL circumstances;
-Humans that kill animals deserve death.

And I don't really grasp how the second point isn't ALSO killing an animal? Is it different because humans are able to make moral judgements? Someone help me here.
