ChrisFinally figured out my biggest issue with pixelfed! I always get terribly slow load times, well mixed random load times. Makes scrolling images so frustrating!
The reason, one image is a simple 1280px height and the next is 6000+. The server is not creating or serving up smaller or at least consistant image resolutions. So one minute its a 1megapixel image and the next its 60megapixels. Sigh!
