A little KiCad view of a design I have been wanting to make. A web blink horse quad Triac switch. The idea is to have an AC wire coming in on the tail and that wire gets split into 4 feet wires.

The load carried by the horse in the saddle would be the triac switches. I got excited by the PCB via grids @skyguided was using and thought they would be a nice saddle heat sink.

Still gotta work out the exact shape, @alifeeney is gonna draw me a horse to make the PCB shape. Holding off to route the traces till then.

I am sure I am doing something electrically strange here. Any electrical engineers are welcome to tell me. Happy to provide a schematic.

Its gonna have a warning saying its a dangerous horse that kicks if you touch it and its plugged in. I should probably make some sort of box to at least cover the backside of the PCB.

I got my WebLink transformer backpack PCBs a few days ago. I soldered em up and by golly they work!

Well, full disclosure, I did mess up (as I knew my fallible self would) I stuck the 5V to the 3volt pin and not the VUSB pin and I didn't put a diode in. Ripping an SMD diode off of a piece of e-waste and slapping it between 3v and VUSB pins solved the issue :)

I will make a peertube video soon on this one- till then I will be messing with esp32 blinky sketches. I got it working with my home assistant... But I dream of making a web packet monitor to neon brightness dimmer - more traffic on the network would make a brighter tube.
Totally willing to trade a piece of neon with web blink transformer to anyone who can help me figure this out.

More illicit device PCBs on the way. Next in line is a mouse riding a Clydesdale that switches AC voltages using TRIACs for a web blinking SSR
