Cis women - we need to be visible and be active in our support for transwomen. Cis men - stand up for your trans brothers! This is an incredibly dangerous time and we MUST be out and visible. I truly believe there are many more of us who stand by our #trans family and friends. We need to be LOUD.

This should not be necessary, but this is where we are. Women and #LGBTQ people are under attack. Silence is complicity. Don't be complicit. Someday I promise they will come for you too.

One of the coolest grassroots projects I’ve had the pleasure of hearing about: #IllGoWithYou

I’ll Go With You is a project for allies who want to help trans, genderqueer, and other gender-nonconforming people who may face harassment when using public restrooms. You can buy or make your own button, pin, sticker, or the like, which you wear when you’re out and about. If someone should feel unsafe using a public restroom alone, it lets them know that they can ask you to go with them if they would like that. Safety in numbers.
