Still one of the best metal tracks I've discovered in recent years. The magical intro and the hard guitars, combined with the soft vocals and FU attitude. Also saw them live a few years or so ago, and was one of the most gigs for ages. Hope they come to Finland again soon!

No estoy escribiendo mucho por aquí ultimamente porque no doy abasto de la vida... termino de currar tarde y los dias que tengo pilates o eventos termino hecha polvo y llegando tarde a casa, claro. Y otras movidas -_-

Una cosa que quería comentar, sin meterme demasiado en política... Hace nada se cumplieron 3 años de la guerra de Ucrania, y bueno, todos visteis lo de Naranjito y Zelensky recientemente. Desde que empezó la guerra, los hombres ucranianos no pueden abandonar el país, salvo ciertas excepciones y tras varios controles. Una de estas excepciones controladas son los artistas que salen de gira.

Cuando empezó la guerra estuve meses en modo doomscrolling total, absorbiendo toda la info posible, porque hice amigas de allí cuando vivía en Litu. Evidentemente para mi estado mental eso fue chunguísimo, pero bueno. Otra de las cosas que hice fue buscar bandas ucranias metaleras para escucharlas y seguirlas y saber cosas in situ. No os voy a mentir, entre las bandas más cafres encontré mucho nassi  , pero por suerte, lo mio no suele ser el cafre.

Una de estas bandas que me gustó bastante son Ignea, que hacen Symphonic con detalles prog, y llevan 10 años y 3 discos. El último lo sacaron en 2023, en plena guerra! De hecho cuando pregunté CÓMO, la cantante me respondió en reddit:

"going 3 hours one way to the studio through multiple checkpoints, then record takes in-between air raid sirens, then put it all in the loop.
and then film 3 videos in 2 months in winter in the time of the longest power outages and massive missile attacks. one word — challenging. but we were determined."

El caso es que habían salido de gira sin problema con este nuevo album... hasta ahora. Ucrania ha cancelado estas excepciones para artistas y ya no pueden salir. Iban a tocar por España en Agosto 😢
