Can you increase donations by depicting needy *individuals* (rather than needy groups or #statistics thereabout)?
In 2007, some in #DecisionScience suggested so.
In 2016, a meta-analysis suggested this #identifiableVictimEffect was very small.
More recently, people like me have wondered if the effect is practically nil.
Hajdi Moche reports that 6 of 7 well-powered studies didn't find the effect.
