Back from appointment w/ psychiatrist. She was extremely supportive & even put my new name + pronouns on-file.

Although the psychiatrist couldn't prescribe me #HRT directly, she did direct me to 2 sources that can prescribe and administer HRT:
* A clinic I won't name because I don't want to dox = doc there's also an endocrinologist & does the whole shebang; will look into
* Local Planned Parenthood

Car ride back w/ mom is like "What you're talking about is #hormonaltherapy . I don't know much about that. But if that is what you want, go nuts. The stuff is reversible if you find it's not for you."

Mom still thinks I'm going at it too fast since the egg cracked 3 weeks ago instead of struggling with this for months or years. And if "this stuff" is for me, it won't be reversible.

Of course, mom doesn't know I ordered the #diyhrt . And I'm about to tell her about the Planned Parenthood and/or other clinic stuff.
