One of our volunteers has moved to the area to be near her daughter. Renting a tiny place and been trying unsuccessfully to buy something for ages. Saw one she liked this morning but was told by agent that several cash buyers are interested and one has already offered £25k over the asking price. Nowhere to rent and nobody able to move as so many properties removed from rental market for #HolidayLets or #Airbnb Local employers all struggling to recruit as people can't find anywhere to rent or buy. Spoken to two people this week facing eviction as their landlords want to sell. Sigh.... #rural #YorkshireDales #HousingCrisis
