The 'Creative Quarter' Art Trail is back!
After the success of our first open evening back in September, my creative neighbours and I are excited to be holding our next installment at the end of this month. It's a great way to find out more about our work, have a chat and maybe discover something new.

Back in the shop today after my trip to Skipton at the weekend. Took a bit of doing to get everything back on the shelves again, but looking at it now you wouldn't know it had all been in boxes this morning!
Now that my trade show season is over I'm looking forward to having some time to focus on new things for the year ahead. I do like having time to play at the bench! š
I realise I've left this a bit late, but better late than never I guess! š¤·
I'm off south to Skipton on Friday to set up for the Artisan Made UK trade show this weekend, meaning I'll be closed tomorrow while I do all my packing, plus Friday and Saturday too. I'll be back to normal on Tuesday. I will be in the shop tomorrow if you need me, just bang on the door and excuse the chaos!

If you're in Hexham and like live music, it's the regular 'last Friday' folk(-ish) music night at the Platform Bar tonight. Looking forward to hearing Mills & Farrell again, with support from some (or more) of the Platform Bar House Band.
Also, possibly the best-kept beer in Hexham, if you can find space to actually get to the bar.
Quite apart from anything else, I've got a trade show next weekend so REALLY can't afford to have another setback. š³ Don't worry though, my workshop assistant is sticking close by and looking after me. š§” Today's priority is to get caught up with my orders, and then I can focus on finishing off a trade order for an exciting new stockist. That's the plan anyway, fingers crossed! š¤

Back at the bench this morning and feeling SO much better! Still a bit of a niggly headache and a few sniffles, but I woke up this morning feeling brighter than I have for a couple of weeks now and actually looking forward to getting back to work. I'm taking it slowly though and have rearranged a couple of workshops to give me a bit of space to ease back in over the next few days; I'm learning!

Andrea is currently contacting those with workshops this week, just in case this turns out to be more than a 24hr thing. If you took advantage of the sale over the weekend I'm afraid there will be a delay in sending your orders out, but I'll get to them as soon as I can. Sucks to be self employed at times like these. š³
