#MythologyMonday: `The Tuatha Dé Danann had many famous #harpists; Nuada himself was said to have been a fair player, Lugh, the Dagda, Cas Corach, Aongus Óg, were all skilled harpists. It was thought their playing could inspire and teach; destroy their enemies; summon animals or spirits; heal the sick; protect one’s home, even increase prosperity.` #Celtic

Any #harpists on here? I need to know a good minor key for harp - or isnt there a 'good' one ;)
Today it is the harp, Ireland's national emblem. Both the Irish harp and the concert harp featured here were played by harpist Aisling Ennis on her solo album, The Folly of Melancholy. Recorded in Calary Church in the idyllic surrounds of the Wicklow mountains. Available from Bandcamp and highly recommended. #Instruments #MusicalInstruments #harp #harpists #wicklow #Ireland
