Before industrialisation of Pyrmont’s waterfront in 1940’s, there has long been the old #pyrmontbaths off headland at now-lost end of Point St.
2 storey timber change rooms, rather like mini #DawnFraserPool.

Great project by @cityofsydney to formalise cove at our Pirrama Park (designed with Aspect & CAB) as a netted swimming enclosure, with additional outer Boardwalk (already well used informally).
This was discussed when designing park in 2005-9, & now checking water quality sufficiently improved to create new #harbourpool

#Sydney #swimming spot #4 is the #DawnFraserBaths in Balmain. A kiosk, plenty of shade, entrance fee around $4 for kids and $6 for adults. #HarbourPool and #COVIDSafe
