I evidently was using poor technique on some cable rope tricep extensions during my morning workout. A helpful dude came over, introduced himself, and showed me some videos and offered me some advice on how to get more out of them so I wasn't wasting my time.

He then proceeded to be *there* on every station I went to after.

Which meant I was utterly distracted, excessively worried about doing things in a way he wouldn't call me out for, and in general just made the rest of my workout a nonstarter. Didn't help when I sliced open my thumb while trying to change the attachment on the rowing machine.
