Due to a number of fires burning in the area, the Gwydir Highway between Bald Nob and Jackadgery, in north east NSW, is closed and likely to be for a number of hours.

Crews are working to control these incidents along the side of the highway and smoke in the area may affect visibility. Please follow diversions and drive to the conditions.
