Tim RichardsUgh I'm getting tired of the endless openings of dessert and novelty drink venues in the CBD. I don’t have a sweet tooth, and I don’t want to spend any disposable income I have on sugary food/liquids.
I suppose these places are popular partly because they're cheap to run and they fit with a cost of living crisis (cheap treats), but god I'm bored with them. Not to mention the endless plastic cups produced for the sugary coffee-based drinks.

@alex You must have a lot of panels. We have 18, which means we're making over twice what we use this time of year. Including the EV - nice to be running around for free!
I'm not so equable about the fixed charges. It seems unfair that we're supplying ten times more more to the grid than we take from it, but WE get to pay the line charge although they get the benefit.
And don't get me started on peak usage periods being shorter for feed in than feed out. #GrumpyOldMan

Thinking about getting a bunch of business card sized cards made with instructions on good manners and etiquette that I can hand to inconsiderate and ignorant people. Like the person next to me in this cafe having a video call on their phone without using earbuds or headphones. It’s not only the noise but also the fact I don’t want to be in the background of their video.
