This was my 4th time on Circuit Break (formerly the Macrofab Engineering Podcast). This time I joined Parker and Stephen to talk about my work at #Golioth, including our end-to-end reference designs.
As luck would have it, I had some boards processing at #MacroFab at the time of recording and once they're in-hand and verified, we'll be open sourcing the design. Looking forward to sharing more about that in the coming months.

Here's me talking manufacturing for a half hour about #golioth hardware with Brenden from #Macrofab. If I had to sum it up: Brenden wants you (ok, me) to use more test points on PCBs. They're free, after all!

Macrofab is an online manufacturing platform that allows engineers to seamlessly move from prototyping into production. Chris and Brenden discuss how to move IoT devices into production and all the considerations around testing, provisioning, and creating products that last.
Uh oh, Chris talking about firmware?? Well I discuss and use #zephyrrtos often for my own projects and for work I do at #Golioth. So this week I asked @kartben developer advocate at Zephyr, to join me on The Amp Hour.
A big chunk of code I've been working on is now open source! The Golioth Reference Design Template is where we start when spinning up custom hardware demos with the #Golioth IoT cloud platform. It's based on @zephyr and you can try it out using the Nordic nRF9160dk:

Posted a video and blog where I show off a publicly available binary for the Nordic Semiconductor Thingy91. People can use it to try out #Golioth without any compiling

Good news from #Golioth today via Stacey Higgenbotham's blog: we raised a round of funding ($4.6M) and are releasing our Reference Designs more broadly

This brings the total funding for the three-year-old company to $7.1 million. Golioth is an IoT platform built for hardware flexibility. Jonathan Beri, the […]
I enjoyed getting to join @logicalelegance and @Stoneymonster on @embedded once again. I have been doing a lot more firmware in my day to day and it was fun to talk through what we're doing at #Golioth with #zephyrrtos and how to make tiny machines talk to the internet in a secure and efficient way.
We spoke with Chris Gammell about IoT, podcasting, relaxing, and learning. Chris works at Golioth.io . They have a neat blog that talks about reference designs, Zephyr RTOS, and making products. We talked about ESP chips which are made by Espressif . The ESP32 line is RISC-V. Constrained Ap
We're excited to announce a partnership between Golioth and Nordic Semiconductor. As long-time fans of and friends with Nordic Semiconductor, we officially joined as a Solutions Partner in the Nordic Partner Program in 2023.
