Giorgia was born in Bologna, Italy. My photographic investigation starts from an immersive experience in the natural landscape, the land where I was born and raised. Later, my research shifted to home environments, where I use objects and atmospheres to engage in a conversation with the space around me. In any case, my stories always focus on my emotional dimension, my deepest states of mind, and my search for my own identity. Lastly, an ongoing project where I draw inspiration from the works of the great Belgian painter René Magritte, with the aim of impersonating him, and using the iconic objects from his paintings and reinterpreting them according to my own personal vision.
