@warteschleife That's just how they do it in #Gibraltar. Non-resident foreigners only get permission for "50 MHz ; 70-70.5 MHz; 144 MHz; 420-450 MHz" (yes, I copied this from the permit, it's really 420-450 MHz).

Our only way to transmit on HF would be to use the Club Station of the Gibraltar Amateur Radio Society, but that wouldn't count for #POTA and #SOTA.

We received permission for a #POTA activation on the Rock of #Gibraltar on Friday, December 19. It has only been activated once so far.

We are only allowed to transmit on the 6m/2m/70 cm bands, no HF. I've only ever done HF so far and don't have too much hope for 6m. How do we get as many contacts as possible on VHF and UHF? Is there a way to advertise this activation to as many Spanish hams as possible? Just call into all the repeaters beforehand?
