The other thing this summer xmas "break" brought is the realisation that my Dad now needs care at home at all times. His mobility has declined dramatically in 2 weeks, and my mother is suddenly confronted with new caring roles she wasn't quite ready for (and it's likely she'll need help with this). They don't yet have a disability sticker for the car, they don't have any of the #accessibility gear yet... and Dad hasn't quite come to terms with what is happening himself yet. He won't use a walking stick and doesn't want a walker, but can barely walk. It's a shock to everyone. #geriatriccare #geriatricmobility #caring #homecare
