From Gavlen on the island of Havøya in Finnmark there are some spectacular views to the other islands around it. Not many people live here, but enough to have a ferry, and the Hurtigruta of course, the main "road" here.

When people die on these islands they are brought on the ferries, and some times they have to wait for the earth to tow in the spring. And some times, the car that brings them to the church (yard) for the last time are driving through the small villages, some times just some few houses, for people to stop, pause their lives and honor them.
