FlameJust got the message that Furality will now require age verification in VRChat and I don't know what to think about this. It will of course be the typical third party age verification and that worries me, especially as a trans person who hasn't had their ID updated yet. But even besides that age verification is always a bit iffy for my taste. Am I the only one who doesn't like this change? Or do I worry too much maybe?

I had a really wonderful experience at my first Furality last year at Somna and was looking forward to the next one. The team really did an incredible job putting together the event and it is inspiring that such a small organization was able to put it all together with minimal issues. They also really put a focus on community and creativity, so seeing this kind of decision come from the lead organizers is a huge disappointment. I will not be attending unless the decision is reversed.
Oh, they did have a post on their website. They never mention Persona by name, but they use the same method as VRChat, which is where it is stated.

I know this will probably never happen, as it didn't happen after 7 Furality events, but I really wish I could meet F.Y.N.N. at least once. Take some photos. Stuff like that.
Sure, that it didn't happen while I was at Furality Somna makes sense, because I was mainly in my Party Host instances, but the other times? I suppose bad luck. Oh, and time zones, of course.
I would literally do almost anything I can to meet F.Y.N.N. at least once in my life.
