Making progress, at least. I could make it word-wrap, but that's not authentic and often not wanted. As always with fonts, fuck fonts, impossible to get reasonable sizing for anything, so best guess.

What does this ViewBridge error mean? I found a few forums where nobody knows, it's just some shit Apple does.
Obvs all my code in this is Objective-C & XIB interface, Swift is C++ with worse syntax, and hilariously not swift.
Xcode is usable enough with trackpad, full-screened. I don't *LIKE* Xcode, but it's nice to be able to ship stuff.

@tewha I can't remember the keybind exactly, but if you ⌘F to find it's ⌘E to replace, or some such? Or did they break that?
Any Obj-C I write now, I do in Vim and just use Xcode to build/debug/run, I got tired of the editor being shit.

Doing indie dev is low-profit (often none), unseen, and kind of pointless.
But I can use whatever tools I like. I can live on my own schedule. And I don't have to care about app stores.
Every time I see someone struggle with Swift or Xcode or iTunes Connect or Testflight, I just laugh and laugh. You let Apple do this to you. You hand-up-your-ass muppet.
I don't see a lot of Windows or Android peons, they live in darkness and shame, but their tools are even worse.

I was very productive on Solaris as well, but that was for web dev & hosting, not desktop GUI. Java a bit later, and on SUN Java Desktop Linux, was super productive for GUI.
NeXTstep and Mac OS X up to Lion? Were def faster for GUIs than anything else. I could make a nice prototype in IB, start wiring it up and fixing layout in code, be done in very little time.
Modern Xcode sucks ass for dev. Java's hard to deploy*. Web tech's all we got left!
