BjoernAusGEChatted with some admin friends yesterday and they also confirmed that #Anthropic 's #Claudebot is that AI Crawler which hammers their sites most aggressive. They put on 2-3 times more load that the scraper of #OpenAI for example.
I am asking myself if the bastards over there at Anthropic are simply evil and dont care about the load on other peoples infrastructure or if they are simply brain dead idiots which are not able to write a more efficient crawler.
Nevertheless if you already steal intellectual property to make money, do it in a way which does not harm the environment by putting more load on other people systems as needed.
